Exercise Physiology & WorkCover
If you've been injured at work and have an accepted WorkCover NSW claim, you're likely entitled to exercise physiology services — fully funded through icare with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
At Evolve Movement Exercise Physiology, we are registered SIRA providers with specialist experience in occupational rehabilitation. We work with injured workers across the Northern Rivers — including Goonellabah, Lismore, and surrounding areas — to restore function, reduce pain, and get you back to work safely and confidently.
How We Support Workcover Clients
WorkCover exercise physiology is a funded rehabilitation service delivered by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) to help you recover from a workplace injury and return to work.
As AEPs accredited by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and approved by SIRA, we are qualified to:
-
Conduct a full functional capacity assessment of your injury and work demands
-
Design a progressive, evidence-based exercise program tailored to your specific role
-
Build strength, mobility, and endurance to meet the physical demands of your job
-
Manage pain through graded activity exposure and movement education
-
Liaise with your GP, case manager, employer, and other treating practitioners
-
Support a safe, graduated return-to-work (GRTW) plan — from modified duties to full capacity
-
Complete all required progress reports and clinical correspondence to your insurer
Exercise physiology is commonly indicated for musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, physical deconditioning following time off work, and injuries to trades, manual labour, healthcare workers, and office-based roles alike.
What Happens During Your Sessions:
